I graduated from Purdue University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in World Language Education with a focus in Spanish, as well as a minor in Anthropology. I am a very passionate and experienced tutor. During my time at Purdue, I worked with one of my professors on a program called “Ayuda y Aprende”. We went to the local middle school and high school once a week and tutored the English Language Learner students. I absolutely loved those four years of tutoring. I have also taught Spanish classes and been a Spanish tutor. I love helping students reach their goals, and I believe every student has potential - we just have to find the best way to get there together using the student's preferred learning style. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I am very involved with music, hiking, and swimming. I love being outdoors and swam competitively growing up. All through my life, I have also played instruments and sung in choirs. I love learning through and listening to music. While my favorite tutoring subjects are Spanish and ESL/ELL, I also enjoy tutoring reading, writing, and public speaking.
