I recently left my post as a graduate student and researcher at Stanford University to pursue a career in medicine. My educational journey has been a long one, but I've always loved learning and that love has kept me in school (whether for better or worse :P) for more years than I can count. Though I don't plan on being a student forever, the time that I've spent preparing for college, graduate school, and now medical school has reminded me of how enabling a strong academic record can be.I've been tutoring since I was in high school and have worked with students at every level of education. I specialize in teaching from a very fundamental perspective and in building concepts from the ground up but also enjoy helping students to "just get done" with their homework. Though I'm particularly fond of math and science, I can provide assistance in almost any subject (from Latin to world geography to art history), and can also help in preparing students for standardized tests such as the SAT, GRE, and MCAT.Above all though, my approach to tutoring is simply about having fun and inspiring students to do their best. Assignments and tests are really just chances for students to demonstrate how much they already know, and allowing each student to shine at his or her brightest is what tutoring is all about.

Hi, I'm a citation master! By day, I help restore buildings; by night, I help students succeed.I have a Master of Science in Historic Preservation and Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While both of these degrees are design-oriented, each placed heavy emphasis on research and writing, public speaking, art and general history, logical reasoning, and a clear synthesis and presentation of ideas. I specialize in grammar and writing technique; study skills and organization; public speaking; reading comprehension; world, US, medieval, and art histories; ACT Reading, Writing, and English; AP English Language; and college admissions essays and preparation.I love conducting sessions as "learning labs" where open and honest discourse is the foundation from which critical knowledge is gleaned. My approach is threefold: create an inclusive, welcoming learning community that encourages and rewards exploration and curiosity; present the course material in a way that resonates deeply with each unique student and introduces them to new ideas each week; and foster critical thinking skills that can be applied in all schoolwork. Instead of recitation or simple coverage of lecture and reading material, my goal is to encourage students to consider differing viewpoints, feel comfortable expressing their beliefs, and reflect deeply upon how their values and learning style can translate to all work, both inside and outside of the classroom. Overall, I believe teaching and tutoring should foster skills that afford practical, tangible applications in other courses as well as in personal, professional, and social realms.
I am currently a pre-med student at the University of Texas at Austin completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. Although I enjoy teaching other subjects such as math, I am most passionate about teaching science courses since that is what I am currently studying as well. Since I am completing my undergraduate degree, I still remember what it was like to be in high school. I am confident that I will be able to explain concepts in an easy way to understand, as well as give tips on how to succeed and apply to college.
I love working one-on-one with students, finding a level and an approach that works for each individual. I have several years' experience as an independent math and test prep tutor, working with students at a variety of levels and ages, including adults. For math students, I work to engender a real understanding of the underlying concepts, rather than just memorization. Under test pressure you may forget what you memorize, but you won't forget what you understand.I have an advanced degree in Computer Sciences, and am currently finishing a master's degree in Community Counseling.
I teach high school mathematics at an Austin area high school. I love teaching and I love math! My students think it's weird, but my desire is for them to love math a little bit more than when they start working with me. I am confident that everyone is able to learn math, and I feel blessed to be able to help them along in their journey! My favorite subject to teach is Algebra. I love how everything works together, and how students get great opportunities to further their problem solving skills!I graduated in 2011 with a mathematics degree with a teaching option from the University of Texas in Austin. I was a part of the UTeach program which began at UT Austin and has been replicated in over 20 major universities because of its effectiveness to produce quality teachers. I am honored to be a UTeach Alumni. I am also a certified high school mathematics teacher in the state of Texas. My university education and experience make me a highly qualified tutor.Yet, I wouldn't say my qualifications on paper are my greatest assets. I truly want to see all of my students succeed and grow as people and as learners. My personal commitment to my students is the greatest thing that pushes them to greater levels of learning.
I am here to help you understand the concepts brought before you in class and to improve your grasp on the knowledge that must be mastered in the courses that you are in. I will do anything and everything in my power to help the student succeed in his/her course, and I guarantee success in those courses with my assistance. I personalize all lesson plans according to each student, and will work with them to find the best method of teaching to help them obtain a better grasp on the topics presented. I look forward to working with you students to help you succeed!
I earned a B.S. in chemistry and mathematics (double major) with honors in the liberal arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. After graduation, I worked for three years at Alcami Corporation, a pharmaceutical company, as a process chemist, working on the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) on a multigram to kilogram scale. In 2019, I started graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, where I am currently a fourth-year graduate student working on the development of new synthetic methodologies. While a PhD student at UT Austin, I have had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant (TA) for one semester of general chemistry II lecture, four semesters of organic chemistry laboratory, and four semesters of organic chemistry II lecture. Over these nine semesters, I am proud to have earned an average TA ratingbased on student evaluationsof 4.86 out of 5.00.Unfortunately, it seems most students have had a negative experience with their organic chemistry lecture courses. Traditional approaches to teaching organic chemistry involve rote memorization of reactions, reagents, and mechanisms. I think this is both an antiquated and ineffective way of teaching organic chemistry; instead, I believe the more effective way to teach this subject is to focus on how to think about organic chemistry. Organic chemistry provides "tools" that can be leveraged to predict reactivity or the general characteristics of organic molecules. It is also important to recognize that a lot of the chemical transformations proceed by very similar pathways (i.e., "same song, different verse"). If you can learn to use these basic tools and recognize patterns, then you do not need to worry about memorizing anything! This is the exact approach that I try to use while teaching studentsapplying basic concepts/tools to more complicated systems and realizing that it truly is just a different verse of the same song.
Hey there! My name is Nathaniel, and I graduated from UT Austin in 2016 with degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology. I've had over 8 years of tutoring experience in different areas, primarily in mathematics and the natural sciences. I began tutoring my mom's friend's children in algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry while still in middle school. This is the point at which I realized the reward in helping others learn, inciting my passion for tutoring. I went on to continue assisting classmates in high school, ultimately tutoring around a dozen different students while in college. In fact, I even served as a teaching assistant my junior year, helping grade assignments. In my free time, I like to play sports, lift weights, and volunteer. I ultimately plan on attending medical school, aiming for admission in 2018. I'm open to many different physician specialties, but have found psychiatry, neurosurgery, and orthopedics the most interesting so far. Other fun facts about me are that I've been skydiving 25 times (certified), biked from Austin, Texas to Anchorage Alaska to raise money and awareness for cancer research as part of the UT organization Texas 4000, and worked at a haunted house this past October. My teaching approach is different from others in that I do not wish to instruct students as if they were in a class, but by putting it in terms that would resonate most with them. Thus, I strive to not only further your children's insight in a given subject area, but to also allow them to actually appreciate different subjects and how they relate to the world around them. I look forward to working with your child, and will hopefully hear from you soon!
I am currently in the final year of my PhD program at The University of Texas at Austin, where I also completed my undergraduate education. During the last decade, I developed expertise in a wide variety of subjects in the humanities and social sciences because of my interdisciplinary approach to my studies. As an undergraduate, I triple majored in Government, History, and the self-created major of African Development Studies through the Humanities Honors Thesis Program in the College of Liberal Arts, where I was also a member of Plan 1 Honors (the humanities equivalent of the more well-known Plan 2 program). I also obtained minors in Philosophy and African & African Diaspora Studies, as well as a certifications in Human Rights & Social Justice and European Studies. In May 2013, I graduated a Dean's Distinguished Graduate (one of twelve graduating students selected annually for the College of Liberal Arts' highest honor). By August of the same year, I enrolled in my current program to pursue a degree in African History, with a minor in Global History. I will defend my dissertation on the history of sexual health and HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa at the end of this calendar year.I always try to emphasize investing in the education of others as my personal form of gratitude for the many opportunities that propelled my own learning. Mentoring my best friend to the point that I felt his own graduate accomplishments surpassed my own has been one of the most rewarding moments of my life thus far. I possess a profound passion for guiding others to that "lightbulb moment", and I have a long history of experience doing so. My qualifications include: coaching debate and public speaking for over five years, both privately and at Westlake High School in Texas; teaching thousands of undergraduate history students at the University of Texas over the course of five years; mentoring several undergraduate thesis students; designing course curriculum and teaching aids; functioning as an Undergraduate Writing Mentor for a large freshman writing course; and providing - in various official capacities - constructive feedback on many of my colleagues' research and writing efforts.Higher level education in historical topics is almost entirely done through copious amounts of reading and almost all courses conclude with term papers amounting to close to fifty pages in length. The comprehensive exam portfolio that marked my transition from PhD Student to PhD Candidate alone consisted of over four hundred pages of quality written work. My dissertation, once finished, will be similar. Additionally, I have edited and proofread several published academic books. Finally, I am the author of over thirty pieces of written work, including chapters and articles printed by various respected academic publishers. I presented much of this research at conferences all over the world, including a paper which earned the award for the best written work from the University of Alabama in 2014.I possess over a decade of learned expertise in history, and much of my published research is held in high regard by my peers and mentors alike. My undergraduate honors thesis approached history from the direction of political science and political economy, while my current efforts examine the social and political impact of trends in global history and the history of medicine in sub-Saharan Africa. While Africa is my regional specialty, I have also taught classes in both 20th century Texan history and the history of the modern U.S. In 2015, I even taught a seminar on the global history of disease to a collection of AP World History teachers seeking to build curriculum around this topic. Historical education requires a particular style of style of writing which emphasizes the construction of effective arguments and the use of evidence to tie ideas together in a way that is distinct from the type of writing encouraged in other fields. Articulating concepts utilizing this style is by far my most refined skill.I am certainly open to discussing tutoring options further. Because I value quality education, I want to make sure that I am an appropriate fit for any student interested in working with me. This said, the lengthy amount of time I have spent with The University of Texas at Austin has granted me qualifications to educate in topics well outside of the narrow focus of my dissertation research. I have explored topics in the fields of social work, business ethics, philosophy, law, the history of science, and many more. I encourage any inquiries seeking clarification about whether I am able to provide mentorship in any particular field of study.
With each of my experiences working with children my passion for education has grown. I first came to Austin to work with a Spanish literacy intervention program through Americorps called A Community for Education (ACE). After my service with ACE I taught at a dual language (Spanish-English) school for five years. I taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade in math, reading, writing, and science. I am currently a graduate student pursuing my master's in speech language pathology, which I plan to practice in the schools. I believe the care and attention of teachers for students is integral to the development of a healthy, happy child. I enjoy getting to know the children I work with and watch their personalities and minds develop.
I work in interdisciplinary approaches to French literary studies, post-colonial studies, and Francophone studies, but my main goal is to help students and working professionals to understand and communicate in the French language and to reach their own goals in the language while developing an understanding of its rich and diverse cultures.
As a tutor, I not only ensure my students make the grade, I nurture their academic self-esteem and innate intellectual curiosity. I do this by focusing on what my students know before turning to what they do not know. I take the time to understand and mentor my student’s particular gifts, using their individual strengths to conquer their individual academic challenges and become confident, creative, lifetime learners. By encouraging questions and providing hands-on interactive lessons which consist of substantial modeling (“see one”), guided practice (“do one”), and checking for understanding (“teach one”), I ensure my students understand the “why” rather than merely memorize the “that.”I am “HQ” (Highly Qualified) certified to teach Social Studies for grades 7-12. I currently teach a sophomore level ethics class at St. Edwards University. I taught several classes at The University of Texas at Austin as a Doctoral Candidate, where I also earned my M.A. in Philosophy. At the University of Southern California, I earned my B.A. with Departmental Honors along with the Discovery Scholar’s award for excellence in independent research. I have been tutoring and teaching for eleven years, with a primary emphasis on developing my students’ writing and critical thinking skills. In Renaissance Man fashion, I pursue well-roundedness. I let my imagination run free by playing World of Warcraft, watching Star Trek, and reading fantasy novels like The Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. I support my physical health by practicing yoga, camping, and experimenting in the kitchen with healthy, delicious, recipes. I soothe my soul by spending time with my family and friends, singing in my church’s choir and curling up with my husband and four cats to enjoy a relaxing evening at home.
I hope to defeat poverty all over the world. I will one day build homes for homeless people and those living in impoverished countries. I believe having a stable home is the foundation for success in all areas of life.As far as my educational background, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Sociology. While in college, my favorite classes were my upper-division, writing based courses, related to History and Sociology. I love writing research papers. Before switching majors, I was a science major. So I have taken calculus, biology, and chemistry courses. I was placed right into calculus due to my UT Math Placement Exam, testing me out of pre-calculus.If a student needs help writing an essay, I will be able to help with creating a strong thesis statement, citations, and organizing the paper. My first job out of college was an in-class math tutor for middle school students who were behind in their grade levels.

Education has been my passion and my career for 8 years. I began teaching in Special Education, which I believe makes me an excellent candidate for tutoring for many reasons. First, I am able to differentiate my lessons and other lessons for all abilities. Differentiation is essential and it proves that teachers are in tune with the individual students and can adapt any lesson to meet every child's needs. As a special education teacher, I was also able to create and implement incentive systems which served as a motivator for students, especially when the lessons increase in difficulty. Another reason I would love to tutor is because I can devise engaging activities with multi-sensory lessons so children of all abilities are able to be successful, challenged, and engaged.
I am currently a certified math teacher in New Mexico. I also hold endorsements in ELA and Social Studies. I have also worked as a Special Education teacher in both the resource room and inclusive classroom settings. This past summer, I was a tutor for the New Mexico Summer Literacy program, using phonics-based instruction to support struggling readers. I have extensive experience working with dyslexic students, as well as those with ADHD and ADD,
My life motto is, "You learn something new everyday." I am a graduate from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Infectious Diseases. I have tutored students in math, science, and college admissions exams for 4 years. While I tutored, I fell in love with sharing my knowledge and seeing students achieve success in their courses. I became a certified 7-12 grade Science teacher and had the pleasure to educate high school students in Biology and Environmental Science. I focus on meeting a student where they are, scaffolding to student independence in learning, and bringing the information in their optimal learning style: Auditory, Visual, or Kinesthetic.
I am a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and English Literature in 2014. Since graduation, I have served one year as a K-2 literacy tutor with A Community for Education, and this past year I worked as a kindergarten teacher at IDEA Public Schools. I will be beginning a Masters Program in Education this fall at the University of Texas at Austin with a certification in teaching 7-12th English. My goal as a professional is to unite my love of literature with my passion for social justice to become an inspirational and effective educator of underserved preteen and teenage students. My tutoring style is very positive and encouraging, and centered around teaching my students in a way that makes sense to them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, travel, and cooking.
After spending ten years away on the East Coast, I am excited to be home in Texas getting my PhD in Middle Eastern Literature at the University of Texas at Austin. I am previously a graduate of American University in Washington DC, with a BA in International Relations. After graduating, I spent two years in Istanbul, Turkey teaching academic Reading and Writing at a preparatory program at a private university. Upon returning to the United States, I worked for a hip new language school in Brooklyn teaching Spanish, French, and Arabic. I love sharing my passion for foreign language and literature, and I seized every opportunity to take my lessons outside of the classroom with Spanish scavenger hunts, French cheese tastings, and Arabic window shopping.Besides the new cultures and experiences that learning a foreign language brings, it helps improve reading and writing skills in your native language as well. Along with Spanish, French, and Arabic, I also tutor academic Reading and Writing. I believe that English and foreign language learning reinforce one another. Whether ordering baklava in Arabic, or answering vocabulary questions on the SAT, language is all about taking a step back and understanding the communicative tools you have to work with. When not studying medieval poetry, I love to bike around Austin and work on the mini-farm in our backyard, complete with chickens!

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy composing music and exploring the intricacies of biochemistry, which enrich my ability to connect with students and inspire them in their studies.
I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying Civil Engineering. I am graduating in May 2022, and I will be starting at Boston Consulting Group in Fall 2022. I really enjoy tutoring students, and I have had a multitude of tutoring experiences in the past, from teaching violin and music to teaching younger students in areas of help they need. I attended a Math and Science Academy for High School, and throughout high school, I tutored in many AP subjects as well as SAT tutoring. I tutor a broad range of subjects, but I am most passionate about Math and Science topics. I really enjoy talking to students, and I am a firm believer of teaching students in their own individual way that most fits their learning style. I am committed to teaching your student, and I am excited to get to meet you!
Hello! My name is Evan Rosenthal, and I'm pleased to meet you! I'm currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have a few years of experiences as a camp counselor for the URJ Six-Points Sci-Tech Academy summer camp, where I helped plan and lead activities meant to inspire learning about STEM, as well as make said learning fun! In my spare time, you can find me 3D printing cool things, tinkering around in Minecraft, or playing with my adorable dog, Abby.
Hello! My name is Reigne ("rain") and I am currently a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin. I am a biology major with a focus of going to medical school. I've taken various college courses from psychology to British literature while in high school, so I understand the need to switch to different learning and studying styles with each subject. My personal strengths in subjects include math (algebra 1 & 2), biology, and writing as well. I took a total of 3 college writing courses in high school and also wrote a strong personal statement for my current university, meaning I can help with high school essays, but I can also help guide students to create a strong admissions essay that portrays who the are in a short amount of words. I truly believe that in order to teach, especially with individual students, we as tutors need to listen to the needs as well as adapt to how the students learn.
I am currently a sophomore electrical and computer engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. I helped out as a general subject (math, science, history, etc.) tutor at Health Careers High School in San Antonio while I was a junior and senior as part of National Honor Society. My strong academic subject areas are math, particularly calculus, trigonometry, and algebra; although I do tutor up to all high school levels of math, computer science programming in Java, Python, or C, electrical engineering topics like circuitry or programming, and mechanical physics. I really enjoy helping other people out because my motto is "ancora imparo," or "I am always learning." So if I can always learn something, I wish to help others learn and do better as well. My hobbies include exercise, sports, and playing video games, basically anything that engages the body or mind!
I am a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in math and physics. I also have a master's degree in physics from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I am very passionate about math, physics, and astronomy and I wish to share this passion with students. I hope to accomplish this by helping students to see the relevance of these fields in their daily lives and future careers. I also attempt to make my lessons engaging by using YouTube videos and PhET simulations where possible.. Practice is essential to getting an understanding of math and physics, and I will be there to assist students and offer encouragement as they work through problems.
Since I graduated from UT Austin in 1988, I have realized that a teacher isn't what I do, it is what I am. Every person has the right to learn and understand what is being presented to them. If you don't understand it, my job is to find a way to bring it to you. By working together, I hope you can find the joy of mathematics that I have found.

Hi! My name is Anushka and I'm a senior at UT Austin majoring in Computer Engineering and Economics. I have a strong background in math and programming, including calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. I also have experience tutoring students in reading and writing. In the past I've worked as a math tutor and peer advisor, where I helped students understand complex concepts by breaking them down into clear, step-by-step explanations. I focus on adapting my teaching style to each student and making sure that they truly understand each concept. I enjoy working with both middle school and high school students and I'm happy to help with homework, exam prep, or strengthening foundational skills.
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I have a background in both Mathematics and other Natural Science fields and am both willing and comfortable teaching either of these subjects. Furthermore, I have studied and taken the SAT and MCAT, and would be happy to help others who want to take these tests. My prior teaching experience includes mentoring in both group and one-on-one settings. While most of my teaching has been done with my students of similar age, I would be comfortable with younger students as well, having been an older sibling for most of my life. From personal experience from the point of view of both a teacher and a student, learning is not always a straightforward process. Teaching plans should be compatible with individual students, taking into account their goals, needs, and learning styles. For example, I personally like to incorporate secondary lines of reasoning. When learning words, I look at roots, when learning theorems, I study proofs, and when learning mechanisms, I examine comparable systems. In addition, I am a rather visual learner, and favor illustrations such as graphs, tables, and diagrams as learning tools.Besides working as a tutor, I enjoy watching and playing sports, especially football, basketball, and soccer. I enjoy cooking and would like to improve both the quality of food I produce and the repertoire of dishes I can make. I have interests in other subjects, such as geography, history, and architecture. Various other hobbies include watching TV shows, walking around, listening to music, and playing video games.
Hello! I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Computational Science. I graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a B.Sc. in Computer Science. My doctoral studies fall at the overlap of mathematics, computer science, and physics. I enjoy coding software that adheres to professional coding standards but deals with solving complex physical problems. I have half a decade of experience coding in C/C++/Java. Some of the extensive projects that I have built include a microkernel in C, a puzzle video game in C++ and a compiler in Java.Over the past few years, I have tutored students in senior level college computer science courses in operating systems and computer vision. I enjoy teaching and I look forward to working with students who not only want to master the course material but also want to learn more about the subject.
Currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, I am pursuing a Psychology B.S. with ambitions to attend medical school to become a surgeon one day. Since elementary school all the way to college, I have always excelled at math, and I have always enjoyed tutoring/helping my classmates with their difficulties. Specifically, I tutor in Trigonometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus 1, and SAT Math. Every single math-related subject is my favorite honestly because I love being able to dissect a problem and then solve it just like a surgeon. When it comes to math, I believe a student needs to learn and understand every step in solving a problem in order to create a strong foundation for them self. Besides for all these academic information, I personally enjoy playing recreational sports, going out with my friends, and eating tacos.
I'm a musician-turned-engineer with a penchant for applying math to everyday situations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and have worked in Austin as a civil engineer. I also hold a Master of Music from Indiana University and taught private music lessons for several years before turning to engineering. The upshot to all of this is that I have a lot of experience with one-on-one teaching and applied mathematics. If I am your tutor, you will never have to wonder why you are learning your topic! I keep things relevant to real life and draw lots of connections with other subjects and interests.
I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate studies, where I found my passion for the natural sciences. As I found ways to make the material more comprehensible, I was able to help my classmates and eventually decided to tutor. After spending over two and a half years tutoring in college, I went to medical school at UTMB and started tutoring first-year medical students during my second year. My passion for tutoring comes from seeing the confidence that I can help bring out in the learners I work with as I see them take a previously confusing or challenging topic and make sense of it. I particularly enjoy the natural sciences because of the elegantly consilient way that different subjects intertwine. If you find yourself not quite understanding the material as much as you would like for topics such as biology, chemistry, or physics, I may be able to help you. Furthermore, I also have experience tutoring for the MCAT and would be happy to spend some time discussing what I've learned applying to medical school and residency afterwards. I moved to Chicago for residency training with a dual specialization in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, currently in my third year. And although it's different in some ways from Austin, I love exploring Chicago and finding fun new and fun things to do!
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin. I am studying for a Bachelor of Science and Arts in chemistry with a minor in educational psychology and sociology. Previously, I was a student worker at a childcare center for kids 6 weeks (infants) to 5 years old (pre-school) to spur on their imagination and creativity. Throughout my high school years, I assisted fellow classmates and underclassmen when they had trouble on coursework. Because I recently graduated from high school, I understand the importance of AP exams to one's future. Even though most students aim to get a high score, I help students get into the mindset of learning for the sake of learning. Since most of the material shows up again in college, a student's future success is highly dependent on this 'mastery learning' mindset. I am passionate to tutor students over Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics while gaining an insight to their way of thinking and aid them in surpassing any obstacle. A college education may not be the only path to a successful life, but I believe that it is a guaranteed way for one to be able to look back on their early years and realize that all the hard work was worth it.
I am currently a Biology major at the University of Texas at Austin. I am Pre-med and also hoping to receive my teaching certificate for composite science in the fall.Outside of academia, I enjoy rock-climbing, hiking, and music. I love taking my pup on adventures throughout the Austin area and just being outside in general.

Hello! I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Mathematics and a teaching certificate in 2016. And, I completed one year of graduate level studies in Biostatistics, and I am almost done with my master's in social work.I have experience tutoring 3rd grade through college level students-- mostly in mathematics, writing, ACT, and GRE. I also have experience teaching in classrooms around Austin, and was a student teacher in a 7th grade mathematics classroom.I truly love learning new things! The reason I pursued a teaching certificate was so that I could help others find a passion for learning as well!I enjoy the one-on-one environment of tutoring because it allows students to learn in ways that best suite them. So, I am excited for more opportunities to tutor students in a wide range of subjects.
