I am a Market Intelligence Director at Nasdaq, helping Nasdaq-listed companies with insights on their stock's trading activity. I am a Fordham University Gabelli School of Business graduate with a B.A. in Applied Accounting and Finance. I am passionate about helping students succeed across a broad range of subjects, including Mathematics, Finance, and Accounting.

I believe that anyone can learn and obtain knowledge, when given the proper tools to succeed.
My practice is founded in the belief that critical thinking will always benefit the student greater than memorization. Therefore I spend my time show my students how to think and deconstruct problems instead of having them memorize the answers. This method has taken my student far beyond the classroom and has given them the tools to achieve their dreams.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Maths, Statistics & Physics and MBA in Finance. I worked in the Financial Services Industry in Asia. Having retired and traveled extensively, now settled in WA, USA, I enjoy teaching Maths to children & adults.

I believe that all children have the right and access to a great education that helps them reach their maximum potential so that they may live choice filled lives.I believe it is important to set goals with students and their families and frequently monitor on the progress students are making towards their individual goals. Students thrive when they receive direct instruction. I pride myself in collecting data and using that data to inform instruction so that it is tailored to meet the needs of the student.
I have a Masters of Science degree from Boston University Business School and a Bachelors of Science degree from Fordham University majoring in Business Administration. At Brooklyn Technical High School, I was on the Math Team and actively participated in many competitions, such as the AMC and the Moody's Mega Math Challenge. During my high school and college years, I tutored math and taught piano. I currently teach classical piano privately. As a tutor, I can relate to the mind of the student and explain concepts using everyday terms and examples to more effectively convey information to the student.
Diana was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended Cerritos Community College and majored in Economics and accounting while working at Bank of America and a retail shoe store to get her through school. During that time she also earned her Medical Billing certification and was highly involved in the community through Project HOPE, Scholar Honor Society, and as Vice-President of the Business Club. After three years she transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara and became involved in education through The Family Literacy Program where she worked with undocumented elementary students. Her interest in Chicano Studies and education grew thanks to a course on educational barriers and the teachings of Brazilian educator Paulo Freire. Working as an Elementary Teaching Assistant, one special student made her want to become an educator focusing on students with learning disabilities. She switched her major to Psychology to better understand human growth and development. That year she became a research assistant to her professor and worked with at-risk adolescents in a high school in Santa Barbara County. Diana learned about Teach for America that same year and felt that TFA's values and mission were aligned with her own, which brought her to New York City classrooms. She has a newly obtained Masters Degree from Fordham University in Teaching Exceptional Adolescents grades 7-12. She's taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at a middle school in Brooklyn. She has taught Algebra for the past three years and is currently working at a high school in Manhattan. On her spare time she enjoys tutoring any struggling learner in Mathematics. When shes not in the classroom or tutoring, Diana enjoys reading a good book, Sunday brunch, authentic Mexican food, and meeting new friends.
My name is Roberto, but most people just call me RJ! I am currently a 4th/5th Grade Math Teacher in Miami, FL. Before this, I taught 5th Grade Math and Science in West Palm Beach, FL. Before that, I taught Geometry and Living Environments for 2 years in the South Bronx (I am a native of New York). If you like humor, high energy, and tons of patience, then hopefully I can help :-)
I am a passionate tutor in foreign languages. I have travelled throughout Spain learning not only the official language but also the colloquial dialects that make Spanish such a unique and colorful tongue all over the world. I began my Spanish studies in grade school but became more committed to learning the language fluently at the end of high school. Now, I hold a minor in Spanish Language and Literature from Fordham University and am currently preparing to take the exam for certification in Spanish proficiency.Speaking and teaching Spanish is an absolute passion and joy of mine, and I would be thrilled to pass that passion and energy on to my potential students!
