From these schools, I obtained a M. S. degree in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Environmental Education, and a B. A. degree in Biology. My teaching work experiences have primarily consisted of doing environmental and informal biological science education classes and field programs for elementary, middle, and high school students at environmental centers, natural history museums, and zoological parks. Topics that I taught include coastal ecology, adaptations of animals and plants, biodiversity, watershed science and conservation. The subjects that I best suited to tutor are biology, life science and environmental sciences. In addition, I enjoying teaching about these subjects because I too am fascinated by the living things and how the living world functions. I believe that teaching any natural science topic is best accomplished through inquiry-based, hands-on learning, conducted through investigative and exploratory lessons and activities. My favorite past-time activities and hobbies include reading of action-adventure sci-fi-based novels as well nature/science books and magazines; nature photography; peaceful nature walks through woods and along the water; bicycling on quiet roads; and occasionally playing tennis.
