About Me

I am a Brooklyn based actor, comedian, musician, and teacher. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance. Having learned English as a second language, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, especially one so different from your first language. As a classically trained singer, I have lots of experience learning to pronounce new languages and have many tools for teaching correct Mandarin pronunciation, one of the most challenging aspects of the language. I like to keep lessons engaging, fun, and practical.
