I am helping them learn English or how to add fractions or learn multiplication. I have ten plus years experience teaching elementary school students. I have worked with ESL students, and have been a per diem teacher in two different school districts. I have also taught SAT Verbal at the Huntington Learning Center.

I am a firm believer in repetition - not necessarily the old-school memorization style (although that can be very effective for some learners), but in asking students the same question lots of ways - getting them to find a way to respond from many different angles.

I am a doctoral student in philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. I received a B.A. in Philosophy and Humanities from Villanova University (2014) and completed the post-baccalaureate program in Classical Studies at Penn (2015). I am primarily interested in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, but I am also interested in formal logic and ethical theory.

I am 23 years old. I currently live in Philadelphia where I work part time at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as a Research Assistant. I was previously a teaching assistant for General Chemistry during my undergraduate education. I graduated from Villanova University and subsequently did a post-bachelor's program at UPenn.
