About Me

My greatest strength as a teacher is my own passion for learning. This love for knowledge has lead me to appreciate the art of teaching and helping others grow in their own learning journey. I am a high school English teacher with experience teaching in person and online. This experience has taught me how to be flexible and try new methods to help my students reach their learning goals. I am a double graduate from Villanova University. Go Cats! While there I earned a Bachelor or Arts in English and Sociology. I also attended graduate school there for a Masters in Education. I teach all English related subjects. My favorite subject to teach is Research Writing! This is my favorite because you can learn so much about interesting topics while developing critical thinking, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills. My teaching philosophy is that the purpose of education is to guide students in developing skills because it is important that all students are able to not only learn valuable skills they need in that moment but also learn how to teach themselves independently.
