I'm Mrs. Payne! I am certified for Kindergarten-5th grade but am happy working with students of any age! Math is definitely my favorite class! I graduated in May 2020 with a Masters in Arts and Teaching from Freed-Hardeman University. I have been teaching 4th grade students for the last two years. Due to Coronavirus regulations, this year my teaching has consisted of teaching both virtually and in person. I would love to help you with your academic concerns!

I am passionate about these intellectual disciplines, but I am especially passionate about helping readers become better readers and helping writers to come out of their shells. I want students to love the study of language and literature, and let them have the opportunity to talk and write about it with even greater proficiency.

I am a graduate of Virginia Tech and did my residency, internship and fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. There I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology.
