I love math and it is everywhere. I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Mathematics from Pittsburg State University. I decided that teaching was for me so I went on and received a Masters in Arts of Teaching from Pittsburg State Univerty. I graduated from Emporia State University with a teaching degree in mathematics and six years later completed my masters at Northwest Missouri State University in School Computer Studies. For 15 years I taught junior high and/or high school math as well as teaching adults beginning computer skills through a community college. My favorite class to teach is algebra II since I have enjoyed watching students take the skills they learned in algebra I and geometry and apply those to further their math education. It is my belief that almost all students can master the skills necessary to complete the math courses needed for high school graduation.
