I am confident that my four years of classroom teaching experience will translate well into being the quality tutor that you need. I excel at using a student's strengths to work on their weaknesses. I am Reading Recovery trained and also have completed two separate year-long courses in the Science of Reading. As a Reading Specialist, I have extensive experience teaching students in literacy lessons tailored to their learning needs.

I'm happily married (upcoming 4 years in June) and enjoy time with my cat (as well as my wife of course). I look forward to teaching my students something new and hope to make the experience memorable and exciting.
