I'm a Columbia Law student and experienced teacher, tutor, and editor. At Columbia Law, I sit on the boards of the Student Public Interest Network, the LGBTQ students group, and the animal law group. I spent the summer after my first year working in Kampala, Uganda on human rights issues and helped a team of lawyers to repeal the oppressive Anti-Homosexuality Act. I am currently assisting lawyers in the U.S. with a death penalty case and am a member of the Journal of Gender and Law.

I am currently a first-year law student at Columbia University. I have a BA from Franklin and Marshall College in sociology and gender studies. My teaching experience covers both one-on-one tutoring as well as instructing large and small classes. I have worked with students of varying ages, from age 6 to 16. I am a retired trial attorney with 43 years of experience, a recent five-year tutor, a published writer, and a life-long fan of young people. I have my theory of learning: the brain does not know the word "No Positivity above all. If you learn what to do, you will not do what not to do.."
