I believe that all students can learn mathematics. I have been working as a tutor since I was thirteen for mathematics and I love every minute of it. I like tackling new mathematics and helping students view their work at different angles that might help them come to an understanding of the subject. Being able to do math, not just arithmetic, is an ability that every student has and I believe that together we can figure out how to let that ability shine.

Hello There! I am Jasmine! You WILL pass your class. You WILL pass that next test. I will help you understand that concept, solve that problem. Even more importantly, I will teach you to study independent of myself so that you can eventually attain the status of a proficient, self-sustaining student.
I have more than 7 years of professional experience within the international development spacefocused on sustainability, environment, natural resources, energy, economic growth, as well as social and political research, strategy and implementation. Additionally, I have incredible expertise in big data, data analytics and artificial intelligence that easily compliments my development backgroundparticularly as it relates to data strategy, implementation and outcomes. I also have private sector, NGOs, multilateral development bank experienceincluding working as a consultant for the World Bank Group and also the Asian Development Bank. Furthermore, my academic background over the last decade has been built around international relations, international development, business and data. As could be seen from my resume, I am in the final year of a 3-4 year PhD program at University College London, with dissertation work focused on developing coherent policy options for national implementation of the post-2015 sustainable development agendathat is SDGs, Paris Agreement, Sendai Framework, and Addis Action Agenda. I am also pursuing an executive MBA candidate at NYU Stern Business School with an emphasis on finance and strategyall built around sustainable business models, marketing and global management and strategy.
I have enjoyed learning and have had a great life because of education, and I like to share the gift of what I have been given with others.
I am a recently graduated college student with a B.A in both Physics and Mathematics. Right now I am taking a year off before pursuing a Ph.D. in Astrophysics/Astronomy, and I wanna spend that year helping others understand the wonders of Physics!
I retired in 1997, after 23 years of teaching math and science in Alaska to students from many different cultures and skill levels. I sincerely enjoyed the diversity of my students because it required me to be more innovative. My classes included accelerated students combined with the more challenged. To keep everyone equally interested and motivated, I created several unique techniques that were easy for all levels to understand and remember, and valuable enough to continue using through higher math. Self-Confidence is the common denominator which all successful students share. At all levels, creating methods for them to experience real successes is the key to building self-confidence. Having confidence in oneself is self-motivating and can lead to many more successes. I would very much enjoy being part of your child's successful educational journey. I am flexible and can typically find a way to accommodate your preferred times.
