I'm here to share my diverse cultural background as a half Chinese, half American tutor fluent in both English and Mandarin. I started teaching over 15 years ago, and have had the joy of guiding students of all ages on their language journey.

I am most passionate about psychology and the freshmen seminars, as the material covered can be used in daily activities. Outside of the classroom, I have served as a mentor for numerous students who needed additional support in navigating their higher education experiences.

I am most happy when my students master a concept and become more confident in themselves. I am very excited to have the opprtunity to connect with students across the nation and help them become successful in science. In my spare time I love to be in nature biking or hiking with my family and reading.

I am invested in their success and care about who they are, then they will begin to rise to the expectations and soon have the confidence and the abilities that were hidden there all along.

I am a graduate of University of Missouri-Kansas City and have extensive teaching experience in Spanish language and culture. My hometown is Topeka, the Capital of the Great state of Kansas. I received K-12 teaching licenses in the states of Kansas and Missouri. I have studied abroad at the University of Madrid in Spain and have taught Spanish to adolescents and adults. I am a licensed teacher in America and the U.K for elementary grades K-6. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and I am close to obtaining my Master's in Children's Literature and Literacies from the University of Glasgow.
