I am a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Mathematics. I have been teaching in Missouri and Nebraska for the past 20 years. Currently, I am teaching Chemistry, Physical Science and throughout the summer I teach Middle School Math and Pre-Algebra. I have also taught Algebra, Physics and Middle school Science. Beyond teaching I have tutored students in Chemistry, Pre-Algebra and Algebra. I always enjoy working with students to help them succeed in school. Education is such an important of a student's life and it is my pleasure to help them meet their goals. In my spare time I enjoy building things out of wood, remodeling the house, camping and playing video games.

I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and I am close to obtaining my Master's in Children's Literature and Literacies from the University of Glasgow.I am a passionate teacher who has 3 years of professional teaching experience, but before I was licensed I was required to do 200 hours of practicum in elementary schools in urban, suburban and rural communities and I worked at The Boys and Girls Club for two years before I became a teacher.
