About Me

After a profound lesson about immunity in A.P. Biology, the study of life has been a major part of my own ever since. I received my bachelor's degree in biology from Emory University where I focused heavily on cellular behavior. In addition, I also received plentiful experiences performing research investigating our little armies of cells. Through the years, I found teaching opportunities to mentor peers in the biology coursework and introduce young students to cancer biology. While I am eager to tutor young minds through biology and biochemistry, I am capable to support students in Organic Chemistry as well. Outside of the classroom, I served as a mentor in the Matriculate Program, where I guided high school students through the college application process. From my experiences with my mentees, I believe strong support is essential to make complex topics understandable. Currently, I am exploring my interest in immunity once more as a post-bac research student at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of the lab, I enjoy exploring the city, reading novels in other languages, and trying different cuisines.
