During my undergraduate education and for 10 years afterward, I was conducting biomedical research and became increasingly involved in designing, performing, and statistically analyzing experiments. I am currently a medical student at Penn State College of Medicine and am on track to graduate in the spring of 2026.I have a wide range of experience and knowledge in a wide range of topics. For instance, while in high school I had AP classes in American history, English, chemistry, biology, physics, and calculus. During my time as a research assistant, I also took graduate level classes in biology, chemistry, and statistics. Additionally, I have completed all of the academic course work for medical school. In the past, I have tutored high school students in chemistry and physics. I also have experience tutoring fellow students for course work that I have already completed. My tutoring style is a guided form of the Socratic method. I ask questions of the student to help them to find the answers they are looking for. I then provide hints and logical next steps in the search for an answer if the student is struggling to find an answer. This teaches the student the logical flow of information and thought that is needed to find the answer on their own. Outside of class, I like to read a wide variety literature including comic books, fantasy, sci-fi, historical non-fiction, and philosophy. I also like to watch documentaries to broaden my knowledge of the world and recent history. My non-academic pursuits are playing music, digital art, painting, cooking, and exercise. I am a firm believer in life long education as a means to broadening the mind and increasing the the understanding of how the world and nature works.

When I have free time, I like to watch documentaries or read. Most of my "free time" needs to be spent doing chores and errands so I have taken to listening to audiobooks and podcasts. On weekends, I like to pursue other hobbies like playing guitar and/or drums, painting, and digital art. I also like to exercise by lifting weights and rock climbing when I can.
