I previously graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Prior to my matriculation, I worked in the Emergency Department for two years as a medical scribe. In this role, I was able to learn about medicine and the healthcare system through the providers I worked with on a daily basis. These mentor relationships increased my passion for education and my willingness to serve as an educator to others. Using the skills I have developed as a camp counselor, chemistry tutor, and pre-med mentor, I look forward to teaching a wide variety of individuals on the Varsity Tutors platform. My subjects of interest include the basic sciences and preparation for Standardized Tests. I would describe my teaching style as informal and conceptual in order to obtain foundational proficiency and skills. When I am not in school or tutoring, I can be found spending time with my wife, cat, and dog.

My interests include reading, sports, and fishing. My favorite types of books to read typically involve medicine or Star Wars. My favorite season is fall, but I do enjoy snowboarding in the winter!
