I received my Bachelors of Secondary Education in English, my Bachelors of Liberal Arts in Drama, and my Masters of Education in Reading. I have taught a variety of subjects which include: 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th grade English Language Arts, Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, Creative Writing, Speech, and I was an Assistant Speech Drama and Debate coach for one year. English and Reading are my favorite subjects to tutor because stories can take us many exciting places. Outside of academia, I love mountain biking, bowfishing, watching television, and video gaming. I enjoy reading memoirs, dystopian fiction, and many other genres. I have two cats and a dog. I enjoy mountain biking and have been to many mountain bike parks. I have been bowfishing many times, and I have a deep respect for nature. While hiking and spending time outside, I find great peace. When I am not outside, I enjoy video gaming with my friends.
