About Me

I am a graduate of Monmouth University both undergraduate and graduate. I am part of both honor societies for Education and History. My joy is to help students succeed. I am most passionate about English, Literature, History, Science, biology and cursory general chemistry, as well as and Art drawing, color theory. I have helped others pass exams. I have skills in passing Praxis exams specifically History and English. I have helped prep for the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams and Thesis writing. I work well with students of all ages. My heart is that every student succeed knowing they can achieve anything. My intention for the student is to have competency in the subject they find difficult having it click without hesitation. The student should feel empowered by seeing their success. What I bring is positive attitude and a strong work ethic. I am creative upbeat and I really enjoy the connection of teaching. The experience that I bring to the classroom is multifaceted, these are some of my skill sets: interpersonal skills/breaking down complex concepts, assessment skills: interpreting, adjusting, I have course training in reading specialist, computer proficiency skills: power point, some new chat gpt skills , creative art skills. I also have personal life coach training in "counseling". I have a passion for my subject, history. I hope to ignite this in others by empowering students to meet there goals. One of my dearest experiences is helping a struggling student prepare for a new school year, during difficult life crisis. I helped them be successful in a subject they were not fond of learning. We always seem to have the most fun and laughed through the difficult moments. In my spare time, I am passionate about but not limited to: I enjoy reading, which enriches my life. I practice meditation. I love watercolor painting. I learned how to be successful with this medium as a watercolorist. I have studied color theory and the method. I draw and sketch. I like etching for make printmaking. I am practicing gel printing. I can do origami and paper craft. I am beginning a journey into simple book binding.
