About Me

I have been teaching someone all my life. I love helping nursing students and others who may be struggling to understand what they are trying to remember. Knowledge is power! I schooled my three children who are now successful and grown up, along with other young people in our homeschool group. Later I taught grades 4-7 in a private school, all academics. I instructed Reading as a volunteer to adults through the public library. I wrote and presented Seizure Management to nurses, teachers and students of the Region XI School District and the firefighters of the city of Arlington Texas, for Easter Seals. I instructed on Case Management, Infection Prevention, HIV Management for Catholic Charities and Safer Sex for men and women for the AIDS Outreach Center. I graduated from what is now called Tarrant County College for my Associates Degree in Nursing, then passed the NCLEX for my RN. I studied at Chamberlain College of Nursing Online for my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I graduated from University of Texas @ Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation Online MSN and my FNP certification exam 2019.I appreciate teaching about the human body; what makes it tick and how to teach others to make better decisions for their wellness. Pharmacology, infectious diseases, chronic disease processes and nursing sciences are my strengths, and I love it all. My teaching style is positive coaching with understanding and success as our goals
