About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a PhD and an MA, both in philosophy. I taught philosophy at the University of Kentucky, at Asbury University and I currently teach philosophy and ethics at Asbury Theological Seminary. I do have a Master of Divinity Degree and a Master of Arts in Music. I love to work with students. I enjoy watching students venture out on their own after developing the skills learned from the courses we have worked on together. I always strive to begin the learning journey with the student, walk along that road with the student, and complete the journey with the student to a point where the student can proceed on their own independently of my guidance and direction. For this very reason, I look forward to working with students under my tutelage. It is always a fulfilling experience.
