About Me

Professional Nurse Educator with a diversified nursing background in Pediatrics, Community Health, Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology. I have been a practicing nurse for 42 years and an educator for over 15 years teaching, advising, and supporting adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am a graduate of Pace University for my ADN in nursing, BSN, and MA in nursing education. I am currently and instructor at JC in Teterboro NJ. I have been their for 13 years, teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing, Anatomy in nursing and NCLEX prep. I am creative and a Technology adept hands-on instructor that emphasizes the profession of nursing and the importance of connecting theory with clinical experience, public speaking, and interpersonal skills at all levels. I am a Nurse educator, a counselor and advisor handling the complexities of the student's everyday lives in school and at home.
