About Me

Hello! My name is Sandy, my background is architecture, historic preservation, art, urban planning/design, educator, and small business owner. I hold my BA in Architecture from Florida Atlantic University and my Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the UK's longstanding prestigious school Cardiff University. Previously, I worked for many years at three Government Municipalities as an Urban Planner working with the community. The places I work at are Savannah, Lake County, South Florida. I am a jack of all trades because I love exploring the creative world. I am an artist and have many publications for my photography, and art (printmaking: monotype artist) (see below for some of them). Currently, I teach art part-time to children in 1st-8th grade with about 150 students. I also have started a small business that allows me to utilize my degree unconventionally. I love teaching what I learned and helping inspire young learners. I believe in the power of mentorship and curating a world of self-learning and exploration. I hope to bring joy, excitement, and a desire to learn more. Learning should be exciting and relaxing, not dull, stressful, and mundane. I teach interactively, and I do not give boring lectures!
