About Me

I'm a PhD Candidate at Texas A&M University, Department of Agricultural Economics. I'm expected to complete my doctoral degree in August 2022. In the beginning of doctoral journey I acted as a teaching assistant, teaching small groups, grading papers, and providing office hours. At the beginning of 2020 I was given the opportunity to act as primary instructor of a course - and taught AGEC 317 (introductory stats/regression analysis) to students for five semesters. This included sudden adjustments to my curriculum due to COVID-19 and University Regulations. I believe a core element of teaching is being engaging. Students who care, learn. Tutoring will offer me opportunities to ask students what interests them and analyze results based on those examples.
