About Me

I received my B.S. in chemistry from the University of Washington. I am currently a Ph.D candidate in inorganic chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I research lanthanide and actinide compounds and their X-ray spectroscopy signatures. My expertise in chemistry spans organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry at the graduate level. My journey as an educator began with tutoring high school students in various subjects. I have a passion for teaching science to students at various levels in their education. From general chemistry to more advanced topics, I'm motivated to show students that chemistry doesn't have to live up to its reputation as a difficult subject.
