I have been a teacher for the past 8 years and helping students achieve their academic goals has been an essential part of those years. I have taught middle and high school students in the areas of English Literature, United States History, United States Government, Economics with Personal Finance, and Cambridge Economics. In addition I have tutored students for the SAT and ACT English and essay sections and have held writing camps for college essay writing. I have taught and tutored students in preparation for state standardized tests in the area of English and U.S. History. In terms of my education, I have received a Bachelors of Arts in History Education and a Masters of Science in Urban Education. I am certified to teach grades 6-12 Social Sciences Subjects in the state of New Jersey and Florida. Finally I have passed the Praxis Social Studies Content Certification exam and am able to tutor anyone in this area. I am passionate about ensuring that students not simply pass but excel in their academics. Whether a high performing or struggling student, I will work with you to meet your goals.
