I have been a registered nurse since 2009. I graduated from Baylor University with my BSN and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with my MSN Nursing Education in 2020. I have a lot of experience with patient care, test anxiety, writing nursing exam questions, and advice on how to dissect and perform well on nursing school, licensing, and certification exams. I enjoy teaching immensely, particularly on nursing topics. That is not something I thought I would say when I was going through nursing school! I look forward to one-on-one and group sessions because I think it is a great opportunity to focus on the educational needs of the individual learner. I am a mother of three small children. Our family spends a lot of time outside (as much as the Texas heat allows), including going for hikes/trails, swimming, playing at the park, and jogging. In my younger life I played the french horn and cello, and I currently play the piano for my little familial audience. Most of my free time is spent on house projects or listening to podcasts to stay informed or increase my knowledge.
