I graduated from Reed College this May and feel excited to pass my educational passion to elementary school, middle school, and high school students! I am passionate about tutoring Mandarin Chinese, history, anthropology, writing, etc., because my educational and cultural experience in the U.S. as a Chinese national has cultivated my enthusiasm with cross-cultural studies, especially in an educational context. My senior thesis in college explored the postwar history of Chinese students in the U.S. and their transnational subjectivity -- namely, how they navigated their socio-cultural and political identities in a transnational context! I am excited to work with you!
