I have worked as an Assistant Professor in the English and Global and International Studies. I teach introduction to women's studies, first year writing, introduction to literary theory, and several contemporary literature and genre courses including horror and children's literature. I also spent two years as the interim faculty co-director of the Ohio Writing Project for the Master of Arts in Teaching, where I taught the four course sequence of classroom research and writing and acted as the research director for all MAT projects. In my fourteen years of teaching experience, I have worked in middle and high schools, a community college, a small private university, a prison, and larger state schools in both New England and the Midwest, preparing me to adapt to the needs of diverse groups of students.
