About Me

Tutoring Style: I believe the most important aspect of tutoring anyone is to first meet the learner where they are. Everyone has different styles of learning, communicating, and retaining information. I focus on ensuring that students are being challenged and engaged without being overwhelmed. I have worked with students with Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Autism, ADHD, Depression, and those who have experienced childhood trauma. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Marketing Management cum Laude. While I was studying, I had the opportunity to work as a Marketing Media Manager, a Lead SEO during a Google Online Marketing Challenge, and most recently served as the Team Lead for an internship with Goldman Sachs. Before university I served a year, full time, as an Americorps member with City Year. I tutored and mentored students ranging from K-5. I focused on a third grade classroom where I led 1-on-1 and group sessions. I also assisted in running a before and after school program, served as the Social Emotional Learning Coordinator, led a student leadership program, and delivered a speech to high-level donors at our annual gala.
