I am passionate about all areas of math, and I love helping students better understand math because it is such an essential subject. I especially enjoy teaching algebra classes because algebra is an important building block for all other math concepts. Helping a student understand a math concept that they have struggled with for so long brings me an immense amount of joy. I like to use visuals and hands-on activities when teaching, but most importantly, I like to discover what my students' individual learning styles are and teach to their specific needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as bicycling, hiking, and hammocking, and I enjoy playing board games with friends and family.
