- My passion for helping students stems from my love of the sciences and the amazing teachers that helped me a long the way.
About Me
I currently teach Middle School Science, but I also have prior experience with pre-school age students and university students. While at university working on my bachelors degree in geography and natural resource environmental science I taught after school pre-school programs and then was a peer instructor for Kansas State University where I taught study skills, time management, and academic success strategies. Later after completing my Masters of Science degree in Wildlife Science at New Mexico State University I taught at Dona Ana Community College as an adjunct instructor. It is not just my education though that sets me apart but my career as a biologist, researcher, and project manager that gives me real life experience, helping me to relate diefficult science and academic concepts to all learners. I returned to my passion for teaching where I now teach middle school science full time. I absolutely love working with all age students. I tutor general science for elementary and middle school age students, study skills, and other disciplines as listed on my profile.
Hobbies & Interests
I am a life long learner who loves to travel and experience different cultures. I have both cats and dogs and enjoy many different kinds of books and music. My favorite sport is soccer, but I love watching football and baseball as well.
