About Me

Hello. My name is Ady. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, English, and Public Safety Administration from Florida Atlantic University. I am currently working on degrees in other areas and hope to pursue my masters someday. I am passionate about helping students, because I enjoy seeing them learning and gaining something from my lessons. I have taught students from Kindergarten through second grade for around five years in a classroom environment. I have also taught conversational English to adults and English to younger elementary age students online. I currently tutor the subjects of: reading and phonics. I also work with Elementary students from Kindergarten through second grade and English Language Learners. My favorite subjects to tutor are conversational English and reading, because it's wonderful to see the improvement that students make while they're working on these subjects. My teaching philosophy is that education should be more interactive and my tutoring style includes having a more relaxed conversational format.
