About Me

My name is Julia and I graduated from Pepperdine University this past spring and am looking to teach and tutor children. I believe the desire to learn is innate in all children and must be fostered at an individual level in a way that can't happen in adult classrooms. I hope to help students see learning as a 'get to' and not a 'have to.' I have experience with children from birth to 18 years, with a variety of backgrounds and abilities. I integrate socio-emotional learning into all subjects in order to teach the heart, soul and mind of a child.
