About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BA in French. While at UCONN, I lived in Rouen, France where I did my studies in French language and culture. Upon my return, I finished studied Italian, Spanish, and ESL. I am passionate about languages and following my graduation, I left for Italy where I have lived between the USA and Italy for many years. I also have a Master's Degree in Education from Tufts University and a Master's Degree in ESL from Salem State University, both in Massachusetts. My career has been filled with my passion: teaching foreign languages. I have taught French, Spanish, Italian and ESL both here in the US and abroad in France and Italy. My experience includes young children through community college level and Advanced Business English. In addition to teaching foreign languages, I also teach and adjudicate Irish dancing. I have toured the world with Irish dancing as a teacher, adjudicator, dancer and parent. It is my other love besides teaching languages. I look forward to working with you and sharing my love and interest in languages.
