About Me

I am currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my major is Computer Science with a Math Emphasis. I tutor in Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AB/BC Calculus, and Calculus 1.Math has always been my favorite subject in school and I have been tutoring people in math since I was in high school. Even though I have a passion for math, I have struggled with it from time to time and I understand how frustrating it can be. As a college student, I have taken a lot of math classes and I have learned many different methods of teaching various concepts. Sometimes students that are struggling just need the material to be presented in a different way. My tutoring style is entirely dependent on each student's learning style. I usually start by trying to find out what they are struggling the most and adjust the way I present the material from there. I often like to ensure that the student has a plan for each problem that they encounter. My goal is to make each student confident in their ability to approach any math problem that they may encounter on a test.
