Grace

I am a New York State certified teacher for grades 7-12. I am a graduate of Hunter College in New York City, where I earned both my BA and MA Ed. I loved the opportunities Hunter gave me to pursue my love of Literature, Psychology and Teaching. I have traveled extensively in Europe over the years, and I am always on the lookout for new learning experiences that I can share with my students. I do not hesitate to share with them pictures and stories of the places I have visited which connect to literature because they can see that I am not only knowledgeable about the printed word, but that I have experienced some of what we are reading. My goal is to have my students enjoy and succeed in the course we are working on. I value a good education for all people regardless of the career they choose, and my motto is "do your personal best."

When I am not working with students, I enjoy reading, especially historical fiction, finding new walking trails, horseback riding and traveling.
