I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Sciencein Mathematics Education. Since graduation, I have moved 8 times with my husband who is a Marine, tutoring, teaching, and assisting children in many different classroom settings. I especially enjoyed being an AVID tutor and working with small groups of students to further understand their current mathematics struggles. While I have worked with students in a broad range of subject areas, my passion lies in mathematics. When students reach that AHA moment, the pride and wonder they experience is so pure and motivating! I also have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Working with students and getting to hear their stories as well as working in a subject I love, motivates me to continue to inform and support young people. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, hiking, and playing games with my two children ages 11 and 13.

My hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing games with my children, and exploring the new areas that we move to or visit.
