About Me

I believe that when someone has had the opportunity to pursue their life's calling, they have a responsibility use the knowledge and skills gained to help advance others. As a nurse in the emergency department, I gained clinical skills, critical thinking, and experience in this role. Having gained experience in Oncology, Emergency, Visiting Home Nursing, ICU, CICU. Administrative experience has been as CNO/COO and later CEO of Federally Qualified Healthcare Clinics. I love to teach! Seeing my students achieve that "Aha!" moment when new learning has occurred is my goal. Insuring that every student is satisfied with all questions answered is my objective. In addition to teaching, I enjoy sailing, kayaking, walking our beach with our dogs, golf, tennis, and curling up by the fire with a great book!
