I studied humanities in college (BA in Art History) at Colgate University, which included a heavy emphasis on writing. For graduate school, I shifted to the biological sciences and got a MS degree in Applied Nutrition from Tufts University and a MA degree in Health and Wellness from Union Institute and University. I trained as a Registered Dietitian at the University of Virginia. I have experience mentoring high school students with essay-writing, as well as helping my colleagues throughout high school, college, and graduate school to study for exams and write concise, accurate, persuasive essays.
