About Me

I am a career educator with multiple degrees in a variety of disciplines. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rice University, a Master of Education in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University, a Master of Education in Counseling from Texas Southern University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A and M University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to my educational pursuits, I have worked as a teacher, K-12 administrator, consultant, college instructor, and tutor. I have spent my entire career working in education because I enjoy helping people experience the joys of gaining new knowledge and skills through learning. I have a wealth of experience helping students of all ability levels achieve their academic and personal goals in a wide range of areas, and I take pride in my positive approach to growing learners. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and catching live sporting events.
