About Me

I am passionate about tutoring because I enjoy being able to help students achieve their goals and excel at their schoolwork. I believe that learning should be fun, and any subject can be enjoyable. I like to tutor in a relaxed environment. Aside from my tutoring experience, I regularly teach Tai Chi and Pilates to groups and individual students. I also give both group and private lessons for skeet shooting. In my free time, I enjoy skeet shooting, horseback riding, and bouldering. I have a Master's degree in American History. My undergraduate degree is in American history. I tutor students in history, English, and public speaking. My favorite subject to tutor is history because I feel that it is often misunderstood. A lot of times I hear people say that history is boring. However, I think history is not only about remembering names and dates, it is so much more.
