About Me

Hello! I am a Finance tutor with four years of experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate students in Accounting, Finance, and related subjects. I have a Master's degree in Financial Management from Boston University and have several years of professional experience in the financial services industry. I held FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses that allowed me to market financial products to retail investors. I also passed all three levels of the CFA Institute exams on first attempts and had earned my CFA charterholder designation. I have a solid understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash-flow statement) and its relationship to company valuation, as well as various financial models such as dividend discount, discounted cash flow or free cash flow models. My goal is to help students in all levels of Accounting and Finance to succeed in their course works and exams through developing a strong foundational understanding of fundamental concepts instead of rote memorization. I will go the extra mile to make the learning experience enjoyable and interesting. I am compassionate, patient and will provide a positive environment that will be built on support and encouragement.
