About Me
I learned Spanish in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a translator in the intensive post-9/11 military environment. After an 8-year career as an accountant and tax auditor, I decided to return to the classroom and pursue my true passion of teaching. My goal is to create a growth mindset in my students and to foster learners who are not afraid to try, fail, and keep trying. My end-goal is to create a more caring and accepting world through education.
