I am a graduate of Cedarville University and Northern Illinois University College of Law. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Pre-law, with minors in history and political science, and then a juris doctor from NIU College of Law. I tutor most subjects covering reading, English, and writing. Law school gave me an opportunity to become proficient in academic writing. Writing sometimes seems like a daunting task, but don't be discouraged! Once you get the hang of it, it's enjoyable! Or at least manageable ;-) My philosophy of tutoring is that a student already has the ability to succeed, and I am going to help unlock that ability. Therefore I use questions to guide a student's thought process and provide positive feedback to allow the recognition of progress.
