I graduated in Dec. 2018 from the University of Nevada, Reno with Honors in Biology, having been an undergraduate teaching assistant and coordinator for genetics for two years, a writing and science tutor for both the departments of biology and athletics, and a research assistant in a lab studying RNA-mediated epigenetics. I am excited to soon begin my doctorate studies in Molecular Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and continue exploring the effects of the environment on gene expression. I strongly believe that learning is understanding, and I strive to help my students not only excel in their current studies, but build a system to become independent learners. Let's get started!
