With a professional background in writing and publishing, I can help students improve their reading and writing abilities, college application essays, and standardized test scores. In 2010, I graduated cum laude from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a major in Magazine Journalism and minor in English. Since that time I've written for a number of national publications including Newsday, Inc. magazine, and PopMatters. I've also done marketing for Rodale Books and am currently at work on a novel. I'm eager to help students reach their potential in English and writing, not only aiding their abilities but deepening their appreciation for the material. It's my firm belief that enthusiasm is a huge key to present and future academic success. In my personal time, I enjoy playing music, reading, and watching several New York sports teams. I look forward to the opportunity to prepare students for lifelong success in whatever studies or fields they chose, with writing being such a vital skill in today's economy.
