It is a joy to work with students at all levels of Spanish and to watch them progress and acquire the necessary skills to communicate effectively. I strongly believe in personalized instruction as every learner is different, and I always bring enthusiasm and patience to every lesson. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with students and to build a customized lesson to ensure success. In my free time, I enjoy dancing tango and practicing yoga. Just recently I have begun golf lessons and I realize that aside from being a tutor and teacher, I am a lifelong student...always embracing new ways to step out of my comfort zone and learn something new. I like to bring this attitude to the classroom and tutoring session as well...encouraging my students that it is not only okay to make mistakes, it is actually ideal, since it is in our mistakes that we can dig in and work out problems in order to achieve a greater understanding of the material at hand.
