I have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management, a Masters Degree in Education and currently I am on a hiatus from my Doctoral program of Higher Education and Adult Learning of which I have two courses including a research course and project to complete, prayerfully I will return to complete the program soon. I am excited about where I am today, Education and serving in the community service is my passion, currently I work as an Educator in the North East area of Minneapolis. I have tutored adult computer classes at Twin City Rise, St. Paul, MN; I have tutored adults in literacy skills in West Memphis, AR and Memphis, TN. I currently serve on the Board of First Step of Hope, Inc., as well as President-Elect of the North Minneapolis Rotary Club and Minneapolis Dept. of Health; Community Action Network Committee. I have a passion for Education I happen to believe it is the key to open doors for a successful life and self fulfillment.

If in a classroom, everyone should equally respect each other by listening, and we can all agree to disagree respectfully. In teaching, I believe students should be given choices in order for them to get the full experience of thinking and learning. Teach them how to decide responsibly. Teachers have a hard job, but they should not give up and continue to expect amazing results from each and every student and remember that not all will be on the same level at the same time. Our job is to help them get there. Teachers have to be active listeners and have the ability to utilize various methods of teaching.
