About Me

I am currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia University, and before that I majored in English in undergrad. Since as long as I can remember reading and writing have been my principal passions, and I've been teaching, tutoring, and writing since completing college. I've taught ESL students in South Korea, and back in the US I've worked with learners of all ages from elementary school students to adults. In addition I've done some work as a freelance journalist. My teaching specialties include reading comprehension, vocabulary, essay writing, creative writing, and textual analysis.
