My name is Olivia. I majored in French in college and spent six months living in Aix-en-Provence where I took intensive French courses and lived with a French woman. Inspired by my experience, I hoped to come back and work. After graduating in 2013 I became an English Teaching assistant in a high school and two middle schools in Tulle. I fell in love with teaching English and after I returned to the States I became a substitute teacher and pursued my TEFL certification. The following year I became a teaching assistant again and this time worked in Brive-la-Gaillarde. My time in living in France has allowed me to become fluent in French as well as having a keen understanding of French culture. I have two years of experience teaching English as a second language through my time as an language assistant. I have passion for teaching and sharing language and culture. I hope one day to become and English teacher in France .
