About Me

I am David. I was born and raised in Houston and attended St. Thomas High School. After graduating high school, I attended Baylor University for a brief time before transferring to Metropolitan State University of Denver in Colorado. I graduated from there in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in political science. While I was in college I worked for the student-run newspaper. I started as a copy editor and reporter and worked my way up to serve as the paper's editor in chief my senior year. Since graduating from college, I have spent my professional career as a journalist, and have worked for a number of newspapers in different editor roles. I recently resigned from the journalism profession and am working to become a certified teacher in Texas.
